BANKYE Piri-Piri Sauce / WEST, CENTRAL AND EAST AFRICA
Seasoned Cassava Fries, Piri Piri Shrimp, and Afia's Green Sauce. Mozambican food is decidedly spicy due to the chilli peppers, garlic and lemons that are liberally used. Peri-peri means "spicy-spicy" and it is a standard accompaniment to just about all meals. It is one of the most characteristic flavours of the cuisine. Traditionally it is made by pounding red chillies, garlic, salt and olive oil and lemon juice together.
SUYA KEBAB - KELEWLE / GHANA WEST AFRICA
Soya seasoned beef or goat kebabs Suya is a skewered meat in Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon. It mostly originated from the Hausa people, one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa. The men would set up charcoal bbq pits in most neighborhoods , on street corners ,selling grill meat , some skewered others not. Just give my spot, and I will stand there and eat until every single stick is gone!
Kelewele - Spicy Fried Plantains. African seasoned fried ripe plantains that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Traditional served with roasted peanuts. Kelewele is usually sold on this street side at night or when hosting a party.
MOLOKHEYA / EGYPT NORTH AFRICA
Molokheya, the soup of Pharaohs. Served with Makhalel, Lamb and Rice
Mulukhiyah or mulukhiyyah is the leaves of Corchorus olitorius, commonly known as Jew's mallow, Nalta jute. It is used as a vegetable. It is popular in Middle East, East African, Some West African countries and North African countries. Traditionally mulukhiyah is cooked with chicken or at least chicken stock for flavor and is served with white rice, accompanied with lemon or lime.
As used in Egyptian cuisine, molokhiya (Egyptian pronunciation; The dish generally includes some sort of meat; in Egypt this is usually poultry such as chicken, or rabbit, but lamb is preferred when available, particularly in Cairo. Cooks in Alexandria often opt to use shrimp. Molokhiya was consumed in ancient Egyptian cuisine, where the name "molokhiya" is thought to have originated from.
Molokheya, consumed in Ancient time of Egypt, the soup of Pharaoh. Many Egyptians consider Molokhiya to be the National dish of Egypt. This leafy green soup is packed with nutritions and so delicious! The smell alone will blow you minds away!
GUINEA HEN KANZENA / GHANA WEST AFRICA
Guinea sauteed and cooked in Kale Almond Peanut Butter Sauce. It is Served with Millet Polenta and vegetables.
In the Northern, Upper West and Upper East Region of Ghana. In each home, flocks of guinea fowl live in different pens. Three small doors open into different rooms: one for eggs, one for newly hatched guinea fowl keets, and one for older birds. Two larger pens are open air, enclosed by low walls. The Guinea hens fly's away and comes back home to sleep

West African Street food dessert or breakfast. Puff Puff is a light floated fried dough pastry eaten throughout West Africa and some other countries in the continent. It is a popular dessert in West Africa. Ghanaians called it Bofrot.
